Spiritual and Sufi Music - Baba Bulleh Shah

Baba Bulleh Shah or Bulleya as he was popularly known - was a prolific poet and philosopher of the 17th century. This course gives students an overview into his life and his teachings. Some of his most popular writings which are performed widely are taught to students in this course. Students will also learn a popular song by Kailash Kher and his band Kailasa along with the descriptive back story of how the song and the lyrics were created. At the end of this course, the student will be required to go through an assessment and receive a completion certificate from KKALA for this level.
